One of my dogs is dog reactive. He ignores people but when he sees another dog, he goes berserk. So when I walk my dogs, I have to do it when no one is out walking their dogs.
I took them for a walk around 10 am this morning at a shopping area with a lake and boardwalk. The only people around were old folks, kids and their parents, and people grabbing early lunch.
It was a great time to take the dogs out there for their 2 hour sniff walk during that time. We saw one dog but I managed to calm one of my hellhounds down and he didn’t try to drag me. There were also geese and their goslings that were all over the place and the dogs ignored them for the most part.
During the weekends, we have to take a different route because that area is always busy during the weekends. But where I live, there are plenty of sidewalks and other places to take a peaceful sniff walk.
Anyway, I finally saw the upside to people returning to their offices. I used to feel bad for them but now I’m using it to my advantage.
Return to office, motherfuckers.
