I just want to let you know that you have absolutely destroyed my life. You destroyed any chance I have to achieve things I wanted to achieve because you’ve crippled me.
Aside from the mental pain, you also cause me physical pain. My muscles and my joints ache. I get stomach aches. I get headaches and just recently, frequent migraines. You make being alive too much work. And sometimes I question if it’s even worth it.

So while I’m working I play music because the background noise, believe it or not, helps me focus. It’s like when I was a kid and I would do homework, I would have the TV on much to my mother’s chagrin. She would scream at me to turn the TV off but I had to tell her that the background noise helped me focus. She gave up.
This is the playlist I usually play…pardon the eclectic mix – I’m weird like that.
West Coast Bound
So, I live on the east coast. We just got dumped with a foot of snow and now it’s all gray and frozen. I almost ate shit walking out of my house.
When I was a kid, I used to love snow days. That meant no school. Now, as a grown up, I hate it. And because I work from home, I don’t get paid for snow days. I actually have to work. Now that I’ve lived here for almost 30 years now, I’m over this climate. It gets so hot during the summer and the humidity is offensive. And the winters are so cold that when the wind blows, it slaps you in the face. I don’t want to live in a place where the wind slaps me in the face…I refuse.

I added my portfolio on my site so I didn’t have to link it to an external site. I need to design more but I’m trying to juggle my free time between reading and taking up cross stitching again.
I was trying to get started on this yesterday but my eyes are really bad. Threading a needle was a struggle. So I have to make an eye appointment and get a new prescription for glasses.
